Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics, supplies, and documentation for routine sire health testing activities
- Prepare, track, and maintain health testing records and results in production systems
- Assist with documentation and planning for the movement of bulls between facilities
- Maintain accurate semen and sire health records in electronic databases
- Collaborate with veterinary, barn, and production staff to ensure timely and accurate information flow
- Prepare health testing materials and ensure compliance with established protocols
- Assist with inventory tracking and organization of health testing supplies
- Support safety, biosecurity, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Comfortable working with and around large livestock
- Veterinary technician degree or related experience preferred
- Experience with cattle health testing (beef or dairy) a plus
- Interest in continued learning and professional development
