Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services, LLC.) is hiring dedicated individuals for our Machine Operator Apprentice position in Hemingway, SC.
1st shift - 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday [Some overtiime required on Fridays]
Pay rate $11-$16 hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate production line machinery
- Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce within specifications. Reject product outside of specification.
- Operate within standard operating procedures.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on production line machinery.
- Communication with Operators and Supervisors
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Accurately complete process documents
- Complete daily production reports as necessary.
- Perform back-up for others as required
- Able to read a tape measure
- Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attendance record
- Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Able to report to every work day, on time and for the entire shift
- Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics
