What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furnace Technician position at Peak Workforce (Newbold) LLC?
Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is hiring a dedicated and dependable individual for a Furnace Technician position in Gray Court, SC.
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour, $2.50 shift premium for second and third shift.
Hours: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F)
Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11: pm, M-F)
Third Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, M-F)
Responsibilities:
Operate vacuum furnaces, hydrogen furnaces, and belt hydrogen furnaces.
Inspect and maintain furnace components.
Perform System Accuracy Tests and Temperature Uniformity Surveys
Visual inspection of metallized parts as required.
Maintain lot identity and appropriate paperwork.
Perform Total Productive Maintenance to enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with vacuum furnaces, hydrogen furnaces, or similar high-temperature industrial equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Experience with TPM programs and preventive maintenance practices.
