Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized inventory, stocking shelves, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming shipments using material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Stock shelves efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory control and management records.
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to ensure stock accuracy.
- Prepare products for shipment by packaging and labeling items according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols for manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices.
- Support retail store operations by replenishing stock on the sales floor and organizing back-stock areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively while following all safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials handling equipment such as RF scanners, forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper ergonomic practices.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, stock management, and retail math calculations.
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward supporting team goals and assisting customers when needed.
