What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Peak Touring?
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Coaches are full prep'd, tested and ready to depart prior to tour. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to quality assurance, have the ability to make decisions, and has a team first attitude.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of Coach components prior to departures (Outlets, air doors, etc.)
- Maintain all parts and tool kits in each coach
- Perform Generator Services on coaches as needed
- Prepare coaches prior to departure, (Fill water, stage trailers, change bunk configurations)
- Shuttle coaches as needed to dealership for warranty work
- Perform small general repairs on coaches as need during inspections (changin cabinet latches, etc)
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control.
- Basic general function of house knowledge. (Breaker boxes, plumbing. etc)
- Basic Mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments and data collection techniques.
- Strong analysis skills for identifying deviations from quality standards and contributing to process improvements.
- Ability to perform detailed documentation of inspections, audit findings, and corrective actions clearly and thoroughly.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
