What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Multi Subject Teacher position at Peak to Peak Mountain Charter?
Professional Qualifications:
- Ability to work closely with a team of teachers, school administration and school board.
- Willingness to assist with office/school needs as they arise.
- Ability to collaborate with parents.
- Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.
- Middle School Teaching experience including combination class exposure is highly desirable.
- Experience in analyzing assessment data for the purpose of guiding instruction.
- Knowledge of Google Suite learning platform desirable.
- Alternative education experience desirable.
- Model high quality common core aligned lessons in which technology is effectively infused into the daily instruction, leading to student development of 21st Century Skills.
- Successful experience integrating technology in a classroom setting with “at-risk” youth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, paraprofessionals and administration to evaluate and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of technology in daily instruction.
- Personal desire to increase professional expertise with Google, Chromebook & i-Ready learning software interactively as learning tools using Promethean Board.
