Senior Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Review & Complex Preparation: Lead the review and technical preparation of complex federal, state, and local returns for high-net-worth individuals, S/C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, and Trusts.
- Engagement Leadership: Direct multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality control, technical accuracy, and strict deadline adherence.
- Strategic Tax Advisory: Conduct high-level tax planning and research to deliver proactive, tax-saving strategies tailored to diverse client portfolios.
- Audit & Authority Representation: Manage client responses, audits, and inquiries before federal, state, and local tax authorities.
- Team Development: Mentor, review, and support the technical development of staff and senior tax accountants.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, trusted tax advisor to key business owners, executives, and family offices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7 years of progressive tax compliance and advisory experience in public accounting or a relevant firm environment.
- Credentials: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise across partnership taxation, corporate entity structures, trust/estate compliance, and high-net-worth tax strategies.
- Advisory & Research Skills: Proven capability to analyze statutory tax changes and develop bespoke planning strategies.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong project management acumen with excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
