Senior Piping Designer (Remote)
Midstream Oil & Gas | Company-Supplied Equipment
Location Preference: Mid U.S. to Eastern U.S.
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a Senior Piping Designer to support midstream oil & gas projects, focused on existing assets and inside-the-fence facilities. This is a 100% remote role with company-provided equipment, offering true ownership of piping design deliverables from concept through IFC.
What You'll Do
Own piping models through the full project lifecycle to IFC
Develop and refine piping designs from incomplete or owner-supplied models
Adapt designs to evolving scopes and client requirements
Collaborate closely with ownership and technical leadership
Required Experience
5+ years piping design experience in midstream oil & gas
Strong experience with existing facilities (terminals, tank farms, pipeline stations)
Advanced CADWorx and AutoCAD skills
Proven ability to work in fast-paced, changing project environments
Preferred Experience
Loading racks, ethanol blending, tank farm operations
Emissions control equipment (flares, VRUs, VCUs)
Pipeline equipment (valves, pumps, metering, launchers/receivers)
Experience working with incomplete P&IDs or laser scan data
