Responsibilities:
- Review and understand contract specifications, documents, and drawings to perform accurate takeoffs.
- Perform plan measurements to develop and verify quantity estimates.
- Stay current with industry-standard software and explore new technologies to expedite the takeoff process.
- Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally for complete takeoffs.
- Attend occasional project site visits and pre-bid meetings.
- Engage in special projects as necessary.
- Assist with other estimating duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree desired (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field); High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in the construction industry preferred.
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
