Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant located in Shelbyville, IL. The role involves providing patient care through personalized treatment plans, conducting assessments to determine therapy needs, performing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, and educating patients about rehabilitation and preventive measures. Additionally, maintaining patient records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care are key duties.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in patient assessments, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy techniques
- Experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and sports medicine
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and provide detailed documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Illinois
- CPR certification and relevant state licensure required
- Experience in hand therapy and work injury prevention is a plus
