What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Production Manager position at Peak Roofing and Exteriors?
Construction Production Manager
Northwest Arkansas | Full-time
Roofing, Exteriors, Outdoor Living and Residential Construction
Buildable scopes and well run projects
Peak Roofing & Exteriors serves Northwest Arkansas with roofing, exteriors, remodeling, decks, pergolas and outdoor living projects, along with additions and occasional ground-up construction. We are hiring a Construction Production Manager to take ownership of project execution and help prepare complicated work before it is sold.
You will move between jobsites and the office, lead subcontractors, solve field problems, and keep customers informed. Strong roofing knowledge is required, along with sound judgment across broader construction. Prior hands-on trade experience is strongly preferred. This is a production management role; routine production labor is not the responsibility.
What you will own
Manage assigned projects from sales handoff and preconstruction through installation, punch lists, final walkthroughs and closeout.
Maintain weekly and forward-looking schedules; coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, deliveries and equipment; confirm end-of-day and next-day readiness.
Verify job readiness, scope, access, site conditions, trade sequencing and quality checkpoints before work starts.
Resolve unforeseen conditions such as deteriorated decking, damaged framing, water intrusion and conflicts with existing utilities. Document findings, coordinate qualified specialists when needed, and develop priced change orders with clear schedule impacts and customer authorization.
Support complicated bids with site verification, scope development, takeoffs, vendor and subcontractor pricing, constructability reviews, allowances and exclusions.
Lead field accountability, safety practices, quality control and customer communication. Keep project records, photos, costs and next actions current in our project-management system.
Improve production systems and use lighter production periods for preconstruction, estimating support, job-cost reviews, crew development and warranty resolution.
Qualifications and application
What you bring
Strong roofing knowledge and meaningful experience overseeing roofing installation, flashing, water management, repairs and quality control.
Broad construction understanding across framing, carpentry, remodeling, decks, siding, exterior assemblies and outdoor living. You can recognize your technical limits and involve a qualified trade when appropriate.
Demonstrated responsibility for crews/subcontractors, multiple active jobs, schedules, materials and project follow-through.
Practical scope writing and change-order experience, with an understanding of labor, materials, job costs and margin.
Clear customer communication and consistent use of digital notes, photos, schedules and project records.
Seven or more years of relevant construction experience preferred; equivalent demonstrated capability will be considered. Experience progressing from the trades into foreman, superintendent or project-management work is strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Northwest Arkansas jobsites. Must be able to pass a background check and auto insurance requirements for company vehicle.
Branded company vehicle will be provided. The role includes regular jobsite travel and coordination around project and weather needs.
Why join Peak

You will have meaningful responsibility for building accurate scopes, leading execution, improving systems and delivering work customers can trust.
