Operated in partnership with Lifepoint Health, Duke Health, and WakeMed, our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to helping patients recover, regain independence, and improve their quality of life in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
How You'll Contribute
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:
Must hold current/active LPN Certification and be graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
Additional Requirements Include CPR/BLS Certification Required

How You'll Contribute
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:
- Administers medications safely and accurately based on patient condition and age
- Follows proper medication administration procedures to reduce risk of errors
- Assists the RN with patient assessments and reassessments in accordance with policy
- Identifies and implements appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions
- Completes timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision
- Delivers patient care based on treatment response and updates care plans as needed
- Assesses and manages patient pain using appropriate interventions
- Educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
- Promotes patient safety and helps reduce the risk of medical errors
- Develops individualized patient and family education plans
Must hold current/active LPN Certification and be graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
Additional Requirements Include CPR/BLS Certification Required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- IV Certification strongly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Strong clinical, assessment, and patient care skills
- Effective communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
