Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Execute specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and upholstery maintenance to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Manage laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during visits
- Handle janitorial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, trash removal, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling or coordinating cleaning activities for larger projects or teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a focus on quality service delivery
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation standards, and janitorial procedures
- Experience with carpet cleaning machines and upholstery care is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling comfortably
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices or custodial experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of cooking can be beneficial for clients requiring light meal prep or kitchen upkeep
