The Team You Will be Joining
You will be joining the financial and administrative division of a vital state agency dedicated to disaster response, homeland security, and public safety coordination. Working in a quiet, spacious office environment, you will collaborate directly with executive leadership, project managers, and agency legal counsel to ensure compliance and smooth operational workflows.
Major Duties
- Conduct legal research on current laws, regulations, and statutes to support operational needs.
- Process, review, and coordinate response efforts for agency HIPAA requests.
- Liaise between division leadership and legal personnel to maintain clear project updates.
- Assist with administrative coordination and document preparation across key departments.
What Are We Looking For?
- Prior experience as a legal assistant, law clerk, or paralegal (state agency experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong research and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a soft security check for site access.
