Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our award-winning team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of administrative tasks. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week; no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments using medical scheduling software, process payments.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information, updating medical history, and explaining clinic procedures clearly.
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare clinic is highly preferred, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Proven customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette in a busy environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
