Peak is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandisers to join our team for a 6-month project within the convenience store industry. The ideal candidates will have previous merchandising or reset experience, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment. Must Reside in Rome, GA!
Job Summary:
As a Retail Merchandiser, you will assist the Team Lead in completing center store resets and product merchandising according to Plan-O-Grams (POGs) and store-specific layouts. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to complete two convenience store resets per day as part of a traveling team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Plan-O-Grams (POGs) to reset and merchandise existing in-store products.
- Tag, move, and rearrange products on shelves, in bins, and inside coolers as directed.
- Work efficiently to meet the two-store-per-day schedule for center store resets.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas.
- Communicate effectively with Team Leads, store managers, and other team members.
- Travel as needed, including overnight hotel stays, potential weekend work, and occasional out-of-state travel.
- Adhere to all safety, company, and client standards while on site.
Qualifications:
- At least 1–2 years of merchandising or retail reset experience (convenience store experience preferred).
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a smartphone to use the company clock-in system.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift light to moderate weights as required.
- Comfortable working in cooler conditions during beverage resets.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18.00/hour, based on experience.
- $30.00 daily per diem while traveling.
- Company-provided hotels during travel assignments.
