We are looking for a Claims Processor to review and enter information into our databases from various resources including email, fax and online submissions! The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday from 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process FSA, HRA, Commuter and/or VEBA claims for accuracy and completeness
- Verify participant information, including coverage and eligibility
- Ensure claims are coded correctly using internal processes and procedures
- Analyze records and documentation to determine appropriate reimbursement
- Collaborate with team members to resolve claim issues
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials to ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims processed
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to claims processing
- Provide excellent customer service to team members and participants
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of FSA, HRA, Commuter and VEBA plans preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as PDFs and Excel spreadsheets
- Strong organizational and clerical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
