Company Description Peak Neurology is a full-service general neurology practice dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care on both an as-needed and preventive basis. The team consists of experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and a clinical pharmacist who collaborate to treat the full spectrum of neurologic conditions in a friendly, relaxed environment. Services include acute and long-term neurologic care, diagnostic testing, infusion therapies, and therapeutic Botox injections for migraines and other neurologic conditions, with cosmetic Botox services coming soon. The practice emphasizes patient education and partnership in care to help individuals achieve their best possible health. Located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, Peak Neurology offers both in-person and telemedicine appointments.
Qualifications
- Licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) with eligibility to practice in Colorado; prior neurology experience strongly preferred.
- Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program; national board certification and current BLS/ACLS required.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills within an outpatient specialty setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a growing, patient-centered practice environment.
Job Description
- Create treatment plans tailored to the needs of the patient
- Managing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including MRI, CT, EMG/NCS, EEG
- Providing education for patients on neurological conditions
- Effective communication and collaboration with patients as well as other providers, and support staff.
- Openness to new methods of treating patients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Experience with Botox injections for migraine is a plus
- This is a 4 day per week position, if a 5 day per week position is desired, the salary will be proportionate to the increase in work time.
