Outside Sales Representative – Mining Industry
Peak Mechanical is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to serve our mining and industrial customers. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience working in or around the mining industry who understands the importance of building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
As the face of Peak Mechanical, you will regularly visit local mine sites, maintain existing customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide solutions that meet our customers' mechanical and industrial needs.
Responsibilities
- Visit local mine sites and industrial facilities to maintain and grow customer relationships.
- Develop new business opportunities within the mining industry.
- Meet with maintenance managers, purchasing personnel, and mine management to identify customer needs.
- Follow up on sales opportunities and seek new business.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends and customer operations.
- Represent Peak Mechanical professionally and safely while working at mine sites.
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience, preferably in the mining, industrial, mechanical, or construction industries.
- Existing relationships within the local mining industry are a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
