We are a values-driven fitness and performance coaching studio serving youth and adults in the Jacksonville area, with locations in Julington Creek and Windsor Parke Golf Club, as well as partnerships through St. Johns and Duval County FL. Our mission is simple: educate and influence our community to live happier, healthier lives. Everything we do is grounded in our PEAK values — Positive, Effort, Attitude, and Kindness.
Overview:
We're looking for an energetic, passionate Youth Fitness Coach to lead and deliver our after-school programming across Duval and St. Johns County school partnership sites. This is a community-facing, high-impact role — you'll be on-site at schools bringing movement, confidence, and our PEAK values to kids every afternoon.
Occasional studio hours at Peak will allow you to grow as a coach and connect with our broader training team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured youth fitness and introductory sport skill sessions at partner schools (ages 4–13 primary focus)
- Represent Peak's brand and values with energy, professionalism, and consistency
- Build strong relationships with school staff, parents, and administrators
- Adapt programming to different age groups, skill levels, and environments
- Assist with studio training sessions as needed (occasional morning availability helpful)
- Provide session feedback and attendance reporting to the lead coach
- Support outreach efforts to identify and build new school and community partnerships across Duval and St. Johns County
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and research to continuously enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- Have experience working with youth in fitness, sports, PE, or recreation settings
- Are reliable, high-energy, and genuinely love working with kids
- Embody a positive, coach-first mindset in everything you do
- Can work independently in off-site environments
- Hold or are working toward a fitness certification (CPT, CSCS, or equivalent) — preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have reliable transportation (travel between school sites required)
Skills:
- Program design and implementation
- Group activity management
Schedule
Primarily weekday afternoons aligned with school schedules, with occasional morning availability for studio shifts. Hours will grow as our partnership network expands.
If you're the kind of coach who lights up when a kid finally nails a movement, who shows up with energy even on a long day, and who genuinely believes fitness can change lives — we want to hear from you. If you're ready to make a real impact in your community and grow with a team that lives its values, reach out. Apply today to join our team as a Youth Fitness Coach!
