Job Overview
Peak IT is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Tech 1 Support Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and helping others in a fast-paced environment.
The Tech 1 role provides first-level IT support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printers, and basic network issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support to users remotely and onsite
- Troubleshoot computers, printers, email, and connectivity issues
- Set up workstations, user accounts, and equipment
- Document and manage support tickets
- Escalate advanced issues to senior technicians
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Willingness to learn and grow in IT
- Prior IT or customer service experience preferred
Preferred (Not Required)
- CompTIA A certification
- Experience with ticketing systems or remote support tools
- Familiarity with networking concept
- Familiarity with AutoTask
