Parts/Warehouse Attendant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain established effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, including ordering, receiving, put-away, and freight coordination 
• Use proprietary software to lookup, manage and sell our machinery parts inventory 
• Interaction with shop technicians providing parts for repairs 
• Oversee and complete invoicing and payment processing 
• Place orders with suppliers 
• Operate company vehicle to pick up or deliver parts and supplies 
• Freight expense control 
• Maintain daily shipping and receiving 
• Maintain organization of parts warehouse/attachment area
• Follow inventory control processes, including daily cycle counts, parts returns, and replenishment practices 
• Complete and file all parts department paperwork 
• Always consider updates and developments to ensure ongoing efficiencies and development of the department 
• Material handling as needed to receive, put-away, retrieve and organize parts and attachments
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization and mathematical skills to manage inventory, pricing and estimates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical and parts knowledge and experience sufficient to work closely with parts in inventory.
• Must be forklift certified or able to be in the first week of hire

Education and/or Experience:

• Experience in a parts, service or inventory department.
• Experience with construction equipment a plus, but not required.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
