This is an outside marketing role where you'll represent all Peak service lines while developing lasting relationships with hospitals, physicians, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Position Overview
The Area Marketing Manager is responsible for growing referrals and increasing community awareness for Peak Home Health, Peak Hospice, Peak Personal Care, and Peak Medical Services throughout Southern Utah.
This individual will create strategic partnerships, educate healthcare providers on Peak's services, identify new business opportunities, and serve as the face of the organization in the community. Success in this role comes from developing genuine relationships, providing exceptional service, and consistently creating opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase referrals across all Peak service lines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other referral partners.
- Conduct daily outside marketing visits and maintain a consistent presence within assigned territories.
- Educate healthcare professionals and community partners on the benefits of Peak's Home Health, Hospice, Personal Care, and Medical Clinic services.
- Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Coordinate educational in-services, lunch-and-learns, community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with clinical leadership to ensure outstanding customer service and seamless patient transitions.
- Track referral activity, marketing visits, and pipeline opportunities using the company's CRM.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent Peak with professionalism while upholding our reputation for exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- 1 years of healthcare marketing, physician liaison, business development, or outside sales experience preferred.
- Experience in home health, hospice, senior living, healthcare, medical sales, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to build long-term professional relationships and grow referral networks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
