Overview
We're hiring a Residential Solar Installer to install rooftop solar systems on single-family homes in the Murrieta/Temecula/Riverside and surrounding areas. This role is hands-on, outdoors, and physically demanding. You'll work as part of a small crew installing racking, panels, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities typically include
- Install rooftop solar systems on residential homes year round
- Set racking, mount panels, and assist with electrical conduit runs
- Strictly follow safety procedures, including fall protection and ladder safety
- Use power tools and hand tools daily
- Load/unload materials and keep job sites clean
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
- Communicate with crew leads and follow installation plans
- Represent Peak Energy professionally with customers on-site
Skills or Experience preferred
- Prior solar installation or roofing experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Comfortable working on roofs and at heights
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic hand and power tool experience
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
