Essential Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Assist patients in understanding treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and patient balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and team members
- Manage incoming phone calls and patient inquiries
- Support daily front office operations and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with office policies and patient confidentiality requirements
- One or more years of dental front office experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and benefit coordination
- Experience collecting patient payments and managing financial conversations
- Familiarity with treatment planning and scheduling procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software is preferred
- Positive attitude and driven to work on a team
