Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Highlands Ranch Dental Group is an established family dental practice seeking an experienced EDDA to join our team full-time. We work with a fantastic doctor that is kind, patient and willing to teach. Our assistants have the opportunity to assist with a variety of procedures throughout the day due to our wide range of treatment options. Our team is fun, supportive and willing to help out wherever is needed to make the team better. Schedule Monday-Thursday 745am-515pm

Compensation $25-$30/hr, plus attainable bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Update patient health history
• Take X-rays, IO photos, and iTero scans
• Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry
• Fabricate temporary crowns, place fillings, and take impressions
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas and maintain inventory
• Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
• Set up and breakdown of operatories
• Schedule patients for treatment, assisting the front office
• Assist with implants, endo and Invisalign cases
• Maintain OSHA standards
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a dental assistant required
• 2 years of experience as an EDDA required
• X-Ray Certification required
• CPR/BLS Certification-active or willing to obtain
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
• Certified Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
