What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurofeedback Technician / Peak Brain Coach Coordinator position at Peak Brain Institute?
Peak Brain is a Gym for your Brain, helping people optimize performance using Functional Neuroscience tools, including QEEG and Neurofeedback (EEG and pirHEG), as well as providing Mindfulness training programs and other coaching for our clients. We are seeking full-time EEG-experienced and human-services experienced individuals to join our team in Los Angeles.
We have 1 position open at our Culver City location, for an experienced full time Senior Neurofeedback Technician / Peak Brain Coach. This involves busy and friendly interaction with both children and adults in a setting that is somewhere between a Gym, Spa, and Mechanic for the brain.
Brain Coach / Neurofeedback Technician at activities at Peak Brain include running QEEG assessments and Neurofeedback sessions and logging training activity, performing customer service duties (scheduling, entering membership information), and working on daily case reviews with the clinical team members.
The Senior Coach / Coordinator in each office helps manage the overall client experience, manages scheduling and supplies ordering, and participates in company-wide management meetings (includes team members from across the 6 locations and virtual office).
Our clients are a mix of high performers who are optimizing their brains, as well as people with bottlenecks in attention / stress / sleep / mood. With a wide range of brain-based goals, being able to work with a wide range of clients calmly and efficiently is a valuable skill in an applicant. The successful applicant will also have proven experience in wellness / human services as well as EEG.
Peak brain provides ongoing personal training for those brain needs for our clients - experience with QEEG and Neurofeedback is essential for the successful applicant. We use Neuroguide for QEEG, and Neurofeedback using EEGer, but good experience with any EEG technology is sufficient; we will provide training on specific tools and procedures.

Experience: 1 year minimum, working in some EEG-based technology.
Preference for given to applicants who have both EEG experience and wellness industry experience beyond that, with exceptional skills and experience working with people.
Education required: Bachelors degree for a Senior Tech / Peak Brain Coach Coordinator role. Masters or above for a similar role training as the assistant Clinical Director.
Additional Education / Specialization in mental health, EEG, or degrees in psychology or neuroscience welcome (BCIA, etc).
