Location: Houston, TX (Acres Home area)
Schedule: Part-time (1 consistent full day per week optional additional hours)
Compensation: $20–$30/hour (based on experience and fit)
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper & Household Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly.
This role is a mix of housekeeping, organization, and light personal assistant tasks. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in doing things thoroughly—not just quickly.
Housekeeping & Home Care
- Clean all areas of the home (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, surfaces)
- Laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
- General tidying and organization
- Maintaining a clean, calm, and functional space
Household Management
- Keep track of supplies and flag when things are running low
- Help maintain organization systems
- Coordinate simple services if needed (ex: scheduling lawn care)
Errands & Assistant Tasks
- Run errands (dry cleaning, package drop-offs, returns, etc.)
- Help with occasional household-related to-dos during your workday
- Optional availability for additional small tasks during the week
We’re a young professional couple living in a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, two-story home in the Acres Home area.
We don’t have kids, but we do have 3 dogs and 1 cat, so being comfortable around pets (and genuinely liking them) is a must.
Our home is not overly formal or high-maintenance—we just want it to feel clean, organized, and taken care of. It’s a relaxed but busy household, and having the right person in this role would make a meaningful difference in our day-to-day lives.
Requirements
- Based in Houston with reliable transportation
- Fluent in English (clear communication is important)
- Prior housekeeping or similar experience preferred
- Comfortable using basic technology (smartphone, simple apps/checklists)
