Peak 1 Express: Mechanic
Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Breckenridge and Avon
Compensation: DOE
Job Summary: Maintain Peak 1 Express vehicle fleet
Job Duties:
- Address vehicle maintenance concerns
- Complete preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
- Track and file paperwork to maintain DOT compliance for vehicle condition and driver logging
- Be available to drivers for any questions or concerns they may have regarding vehicle maintenance and safety
- Perform weekly walk through of all vehicles
- Sign off that inspections have been completed
- Pick up trash
Job Qualifications:
- Basic diesel maintenance skills preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Clean driving record
- Pass drug screen
