PPeacock’s Pantry Catering is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Part-Time Event Coordinator Administrative Assistant with a passion for planning and executing special events.
In this role, you will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal staff to ensure each event is organized, communicated, and executed seamlessly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is comfortable managing both administrative tasks and event logistics.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and coordinating catering and special events
- Communicate event details, timelines, and updates with clients, staff, and vendors
- Support event logistics, scheduling, and on-site execution
- Track budgets, invoices, and event-related expenses
- Maintain organized event documentation, timelines, and files
- Create basic event materials and visual documents as needed
- Assist in evaluating event outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or event management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Friendly, reliable, and highly detail-oriented
- Bilingual (preferred)
