POSITION SUMMARY: 

The purpose of this position is to manage Peacock Gap Golf Club’s outside golf operations.  The Cart Staff employee will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to ensure a smooth transition for customers around the facility.  Primary responsibilities include excellent customer service, golf cart cleanliness and staging, storing, picking and cleaning range balls, and cleanliness of the overall facility.   

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: 

  • $16.90 per hour, based on experience 

  • 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%.

  • Flexible scheduling. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations. 

  • Meet and greet all customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. 

  • Ensure daily operations of range ball recovery runs smoothly. 

  • Collecting and organizing range baskets used for ball transportation. 

  • Adhere to proper pick up, transfer, cleaning, and distribution of range golf balls. 

  • Wash range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability. 

  • Keep all working areas attractive, neat, and free of trash and waste. 

  • Check the restrooms for cleanliness, wipe down counters and restock any tissue products or toiletries.  

  • Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations. 

  • Consult with Head Professional to assure golf range balls are cleared of the range prior to closing the evening before scheduled mowing of the range. 

  • Coordinate with starter to keep level of carts and cart keys abundant. 

  • Report any golf cart mechanical issues to Head Professional. 

  • Inspect the condition of golf cars with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance 

  • Replenish current scorecards, pencils, and divot/seed fill canisters. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License. 

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred in any fashion of the golf industry; private facility a plus. 

  • Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices. 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational. 

  • Must enjoy working with and interacting with the public and other employees. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Must display ability to be a self-starter. 

  • Must be a team player with a positive, energetic attitude. 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

The Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information we collect, and our use of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information, may vary depending on the circumstances. This Notice is intended to provide an overall description of our collection and use of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information. Generally, we may use or disclose Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information we collect from you or about you for one or more of the following purposes: 

  1. To fulfill or meet the purpose for which you provided the information. For example, if you share your name and contact information to apply for a job with the Company, we will use that Personal Information in connection with your candidacy for employment.
