Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to load, transport, and unload debris and unwanted items.
• Lead a crew by coordinating tasks, assigning responsibilities, and motivating team members to achieve daily goals efficiently.
• Load and unload materials using equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing questions or concerns professionally, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Manage route driving to ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of all trips.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of bulky items or debris, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of trucks and work areas; conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services involving route driving and load/unload tasks.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Commercial driving experience including route management is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
