What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food & Beverage Supervisor position at Peachtree Group Hospitality Management?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining inventory levels, coordinating event setups, coaching staff, and ensuring food and alcohol safety compliance—all while delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain food and beverage inventory levels.
Place and receive orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure proper storage and rotation.
Event & Banquet Preparation:
Collaborate with sales and event staff to set up and banquets and special events.
Ensure all food preparation and presentation standards are met for events.
Team Supervision & Training:
Coach and train new and existing kitchen team members on food preparation, safety standards, and guest service.
Support team development through continuous feedback and performance monitoring.
Food & Alcohol Safety Compliance:
Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations in accordance with local and federal laws.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free kitchen environment.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and temperature controls are upheld.
Guest Service Excellence:
Uphold high standards of customer service in all food and beverage areas.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory kitchen role, preferably in hospitality or event settings.
Strong understanding of food and alcohol safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe and/or Alcohol Service Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
