Job Summary
Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a friendly and dependable Breakfast Server to deliver outstanding service in our restaurant, Blume. As the first point of contact for many of our guests each day, you will create a welcoming dining experience by providing attentive service, assisting with buffet offerings, and ensuring the restaurant remains clean and organized. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, and provide menu or buffet guidance as needed
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, and deliver items in a timely manner
- Set up, maintain, and restock the breakfast buffet to meet Hilton brand standards
- Ensure tables, service areas, and buffet stations remain clean, organized, and inviting
- Assist with preparing coffee, juice, and light food items as required
- Handle guest requests or concerns with professionalism and care
- Accurately process guest checks and handle payments when applicable
- Maintain knowledge of daily menu items and breakfast offerings
- Assist with opening duties at 5:00 AM, and ensure the restaurant is ready for guests at service time
- Support kitchen staff and coworkers with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and clean-up after service
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and brand guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Food & Beverage leadership
Qualifications
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with early morning start times
- Must be available to work 5:00 AM shifts, including weekends and holidays
