Role Description
This is a weekend part-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located in Fayetteville, GA. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and manage the care of clients dealing with substance dependency. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, prescribing and managing medications, and collaborating with the clinical team to develop personalized treatment plans. Providing education and support to clients and their families will also be a key focus of this role to ensure optimal health outcomes and recovery management.
Qualifications
- Certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia
- Proven ability to conduct physical exams, assess health conditions, and diagnose medical concerns
- Efficiency in prescribing and managing medications, including understanding of detox protocols
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of addiction treatment practices and experience in substance abuse recovery care (preferred)
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (preferred)
