The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department during assigned shifts while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care. This leadership role provides clinical supervision to nursing staff, promotes regulatory compliance, supports resident and family satisfaction, and ensures adherence to Peachtree Centre's policies, procedures, and standards of excellence. The RN Supervisor serves as the primary nursing leader on duty and acts as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, families, and facility leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts.
- Ensure quality resident care and timely completion of nursing documentation.
- Respond to changes in resident conditions and medical emergencies.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist with staffing needs and daily nursing operations.

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS guidelines.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to respond quickly during resident emergencies.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Current South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
