We are currently looking for a dedicated Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team!

Hours of business: Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours per week). 

This position could require extended hours, and occasional weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52,000 - $58,000 (paid at an hourly rate)

The Financial Accounting Specialist supports the accounting team by performing monthly reconciliations, balancing accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This hands-on, transactional role helps maintain accurate financial records and supports the organization’s overall financial health.

Essential Functions for the Financial Accounting Specialist include but not limited to:

·        Perform monthly account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts

·        Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on schedule

·        Balance general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies

·        Support an accurate and timely month-end close process

·        Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records

·        Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed

Education:

·    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; required 

Requirements:

·        Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a dedicated accounting role.

·        Strong written and verbal communications skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

·        High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

·        Ability to handle confidential data with integrity
