Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, and specialty dishes with precision and flair
- Follow standardized recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality in every plate
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with food production tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support high-volume meal service
- Collaborate with team members on menu planning and daily prep work to optimize efficiency and presentation
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on breakfast or brunch service in fine dining or high-volume settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
- Experience with dietary department operations and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Ability to plan menus, manage food production processes, and execute meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent food handling skills combined with restaurant experience in catering or food service environments
- High-energy team player capable of thriving in fast-paced kitchens while maintaining attention to detail
