What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crematory Operator position at Peach Tree Cremation Services, LLC?
We are looking for a Crematory Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position can effectively operate and maintain a crematory. The Operator will work closely with team members to ensure that efficient working practices are achieved and maintained, and will be required to make all necessary changes to procedures and processes based on the needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide information to callers.
- Provide information to visitors in person, by phone, by email, or on the internet.
- Extraordinary Customer Service is required.
- Transcribe information accurately and communicate it to others.
- Relay messages or requests to locations within and outside of the facility.
- High School equivalency required
- Must receive certification for crematory operator within 1 month
- Minimum of one year of related experience – preferred not required
- Ability to effectively and quickly complete tasks and assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisors and/or management
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs
