Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and inviting
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events
- Handle food items with proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support banquet and catering setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with event cleanup
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with kitchen environments including basic food preparation or dishwashing tasks is advantageous
- Experience in banquet settings or catering environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly in busy service periods
