Under the supervision of the General Manager, Emergency Vehicles, the New Truck (Apparatus) Salesman is responsible for selling new emergency vehicles, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sale of new emergency vehicles of all varieties (Fire Pumper, Aerial, Rescue, Tankers)
- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on fire departments, direct mail, e-mail and networking.
- Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
- Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing and presents solutions to identified prospects.
- Coordinates delivery of apparatus to customers.
