Peach State Academy is excited to announce the opening of our newest state-of-the-art child care and early learning center in Clark County!
We are seeking enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate Assistant Teachers to join our team and help shape the future of young learners in a supportive, engaging, and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Peach State Academy’s mission.
- Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that enhances children’s self-esteem, independence, and individuality.
- Maintain strong and positive communication with families, colleagues, and leadership.
- Observe and document children's progress and assist in conducting developmental assessments.
- Help create and maintain an organized, safe, and engaging classroom space that promotes learning through play and discovery.
- Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and academy policies.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and daily communication logs.
- Act as a positive role model for children and demonstrate professionalism and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma required; CDA, Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and/or school-age (K-5) students is highly valued.
- Must meet all minimum education and experience requirements set by Georgia state child care regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
