Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position involves working in outpatient medical clinic. The Certified Medical Assistant will assist with patient assessments, manage medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Time : Fulltime / Partime position available
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Support patients with disabilities by providing necessary accommodations during visits.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
- Take the inventory, restock the rooms and prepare patient rooms for the next patient
- Take calls, make appointments, relay messages to the patients as per the provider's patient care plans and treatments
- Scanning and faxing the documents
- Other duties related but not limited to the medical office
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Fresh graduates can be considered
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous. eClinical Works is our EMR and experience with that is a benefit
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care best practices.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Phlebatomy skills are preferable
