About The Role

Compensation & Total Rewards
- Hourly Pay Range: $56.92 – $86.09 Hiring rate is based on the collective bargaining agreement.
- $7.75/hour night shift & $3.50 Resource Team differentials

What You’ll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized pediatric patient care
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with professional standards and unit practices
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Direct and delegate care based on team member competence and credentials
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives
- Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of pediatric nursing experience in:
- Acute care pediatrics, or
- Pediatric Emergency Department, or
- Pediatric long‑term acute care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to deliver age‑appropriate, family‑centered care
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- PALS and NRP (required within 6 months of hire)
- Patient handling up to 35 lbs. without assistive devices
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and fine motor use
- Ability to perform hands‑on CPR as required
- Exposure to biohazards, body fluids, and a fast‑paced, sometimes noisy environment
