PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center Trauma Surgery department is adding a per diem physician to care for a variety of complex Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients supporting the community and a large catchment area.

RiverBend Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center located in Springfield, OR, we are the largest hospital between Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California. Our catchment area supports rural communities along the Oregon coast and the west side of the Cascades reaching into northern California. Join our growing Trauma practice and work with a talented Trauma team!

Practice Highlights:

12 hour shifts
Rounding on patients, seeing patients in the Trauma follow-up clinic, ICU and consults.
Working with a team of 8 Surgeons and 5 APCs to coordinate and share the workload.
Blend of Trauma, General Surgery, and ICU. Support of Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery and Intensivists.
PeaceHealth Sacred Heart at RiverBend, level II Trauma Center with 392 beds supports a large catchment area, we are the largest Hospital between Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA with average volumes of 3,500 patients/year.

Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River. Springfield has a flourishing downtown and fast becoming a must visit for your culinary experience! Immersed in art, take the outdoor mural tour, or stay inside at the Emerald Art Center.
