PeaceHealth is looking for a Per Diem Hospitalist to join our team in Ketchikan, Alaska!
Ketchikan, Alaska is a friendly, family-oriented community in scenic Southeast Alaska, just an hour and a half flight from Seattle. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, cultural art aficionados or for those seeking a small-town, leisure lifestyle. Entrance to the famed Inside passage, a network of waterways, Ketchikan is on an island accessible by jet or ferry. Excellent schools, and a strong local economy, the Ketchikan community boasts an incredibly rich, native culture. The southern tip of the panhandle calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World.
Practice Highlights
- Hospitalist team consists of 3 full time, 3 part time and per diem pool
- 25 bed critical access hospital with 4 bed ICU
- Average daily census of 8-12
- Dedicated call room
- EPIC EMR System
Department/Location Specific Notes:
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire.

- Per Diem/Relief Hourly Rate: $182.43/hr.
- Fully paid malpractice insurance
