Seeking LAC Child and Family therapist
Peaceful Practices is a growing group practice located in Medford, NJ. Peaceful Practices is currently seeking a LAC therapist to work with our clients. Peaceful Practices values collaboration and utilizes the team approach to create a supportive and positive work environment. Through a blend of traditional and integrative wellness services we are overcoming the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and helping people reclaim their lives.
Ideal candidates should be interested in joining a creative and rewarding work environment that offers support and highly competitive rates. Clinician must be available to work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week. We will provide supervision at no cost to you! Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Peaceful Practices handles marketing/advertising, referrals of patients, administrative tasks, and billing. You will be responsible for seeing your clients and the documentation that goes along with a session.

Qualifications:
Must have your Licensed Associate Counselor license
Ability to work well with multicultural clients
Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, and previous experience implementing interventions.
Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related field conducting individual and/or family therapy sessions.
Familiarity with local community mental health resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize projects
Possessing strong problem-solving skills
Dependable, creative and enjoys helping others.
Willing to be paneled with insurance companies
Current liability insurance
Experience with electronic medical records strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide counseling and psycho education to individuals, groups and family.
Provide services based on individualized treatment plans
Use of evidence-based practice/interventions
Document all activities according to Peaceful Practices electronic record.
Accurately complete time logs and written progress reports.
Create a safe, comfortable, and professional work environment at all times.
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour based on experience
