Role Description
This full-time Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) role is an on-site position based in Marlton, NJ. The LAC will provide counseling services, conduct client assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions. The role requires maintaining accurate records, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and practicing evidence-based methods to support client growth and well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in client assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering person-centered therapeutic interventions
- Experience working with children and families
- Full time availability including 3-4 evenings and/or weekend availability
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- Ability to maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
- Experience in applying evidence-based counseling techniques in practice
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) credential in the state of New Jersey is required
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment
- Experience with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency in counseling is a plus
