Located in Traverse City, MI, PEACE Ranch is home to the Impact Center for Growth & Healing, the only experiential therapy center in Northern Michigan. Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Executive Director based in Traverse City, MI, with the flexibility to perform certain responsibilities remotely. The Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of PEACE Ranch, including financial management, staff supervision, donor and community relations, and strategic planning. Duties will also include fundraising, grant writing, program development, and compliance with nonprofit regulations. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability and alignment with its mission.
Qualifications
- Leadership and organizational management skills, including ability to oversee programs, staff, budgets, and strategy
- Fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management experience
- Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations, compliance, and reporting standards
- Experience in trauma care, mental health, or similar fields is highly desirable
- Proven ability to develop and foster relationships within local communities
- Proficient with office software and online platforms for administrative tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in nonprofit management, social work, business administration, or related field preferred
