We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will provide comprehensive mental health services including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competence, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of diverse clients.
- Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
- Provide individual and/or family psychotherapy using a variety of therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, etc.)
- Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and revise treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other community resources.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning, including suicide risk assessments and referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with best practices, emerging research, and licensing/CEU requirements in the field of mental and behavioral health.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Minimum [2 ] years of post-graduate clinical experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, or families (depending on population served).
- Unlicensed graduate students working towards earning clinical licensure hours will also be considered.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred:
- Experience in specific treatment areas (e.g., trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, etc.)
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and culturally responsive therapeutic approaches.
- Prior experience in community mental health, hospitals, or integrated care settings.
- Warm, professional, and client-focused private practice setting.
- Caseload and service expectations designed to prioritize quality care over volume.
- Flexible work days/hours to help provide a healthier work-life balance.
- No weekend hours as the office is not open on weekends.
- Pay rate will remain the same and will not be reduced if a client is scheduled and does not show up.
