Founded in 2002, POM has handled thousands of site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi-rise).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-site lead, coordinating daily activities of field technicians and subcontractors.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Project Manager, customer, and field crew.
- Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Oversee material management on site, including inventory tracking, delivery scheduling, and minimizing waste.
- Enforce compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on installation work before project handoff.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior technicians, supporting their development.
- Escalate technical or project issues promptly to Project Managers, offering recommended solutions.
- Document daily progress, site conditions, and workforce activities for reporting purposes.
- Support scheduling by forecasting manpower needs and coordinating with management to address resource gaps.
- Provide low voltage system installation and support services to Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of scope of work.
- Perform service and installation of low voltage systems.
- Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary.
- Perform system upgrades and additions to increase functionality and utilization.
- Conduct computer program entry as required.
- Prepare site documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and provide accurate project information.
- Program and configure systems.
- Dress, terminate, and test cables and components.
- Commission low voltage systems to meet quality standards and support handoff to the Service team.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in installing, programming, training in low voltage systems.
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as befits an important role within a fast growing division.
- Ability to work with power tools and ladders.
- Ability to complete tasks according to schedule and communicate with supervisors.
- Knowledge of building construction, ability to read/understand floor plans and riser drawings.
- Strong communication, customer service skills and neat personal appearance.
- High level of self-motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative.
- Strong team player who can communicate effectively.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations.

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
